Building the security layer AI workloads need
Notis is an AI infrastructure security company focused on protecting the data flowing between production services and external AI providers.
Our Mission
Every enterprise is adopting AI. Every AI API call is a data egress event. And right now, the vast majority of those calls happen with zero visibility, zero policy enforcement, and zero audit trail.
We started Notis to solve this. Our goal is simple: give security and engineering teams a single control point for every LLM API call leaving their network — with deterministic detection, policy-as-code enforcement, and audit-ready compliance logs that satisfy auditors and regulators alike.
What We Build
Notis is an inline enforcement gateway for AI workloads. It sits between your production services and external AI providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure OpenAI. Every request is inspected for sensitive data, evaluated against your policies, and logged with a structured audit trail — all in under a millisecond.
Inline Enforcement
Detect and redact PII, PHI, and secrets before they leave your network. Block requests that violate policy. No code changes required.
Policy-as-Code
Define security rules in YAML. Version-control them with Git. Enforce per workload, per environment, per provider.
Audit-Ready Logs
Every action produces an OTEL-native audit event. Export to Datadog, Splunk, S3, or any OTLP collector. Privacy by design.
Drop-in Deployment
Change one environment variable. Cloud-hosted or self-hosted. Works with any language, any framework, any AI provider.
Who We Are
Notis was founded by infrastructure and security engineers who saw the AI data egress problem firsthand. We've spent years building production systems at scale and understand that security tooling only works if it's fast enough to run inline and simple enough to deploy in minutes.
We're based in the US and currently working with design partners across healthcare, fintech, and enterprise SaaS to validate and refine the platform ahead of general availability.
